Departure and Arrival

The buses for the visit will leave from the CERN Science Gateway, located at Esplanade des Particules 1, 1217 Meyrin. You will be guided from the public tram arrival (line 18) to the departure point of the buses.

Meeting Point (MP): in the map you can see a departure of Buses. 

The visit busses will leave for the tousrs at 8h50 and at 10h20. 

You will receive your access card to CERN along with your conference badge at the conference registration. Your Visitor CERN access card will display one color sticker, and if you chose the "Comfort & Safety" option in the registration form, it will also have a second color sticker. Please note that the color of your stickers cannot be changed.

Meaning of the stickers at the CERN visitor cards:

Green: 1st slot at 8h50.
Orange: 2nd slot at 10h20.
Yellow: Comfort & Safety.

To reach CERN Science Gateway, you can use TRAM18 or BUS68, heading in the direction of CERN. The tram and the bus are a convenient mode of transportation that will take you to the specified destination. Simply board TRAM18/BUS68 and follow the route towards CERN to reach the Science Gateway. It is essential to have a passport and VISA, as the journey involves crossing the border between France and Switzerland.

Please note that no luggage is allowed on the bus. At the end of the visits, a lunch box will be provided to all participants.
