Dr. Jérôme Kasparian Associate Professor @ University of Geneva
He is a professor in physics at the Group of Applied Physics and the Institute for Environmental Sciences at the University of Geneva. He studied in Lyon, France, where he obtained his Ph.D. As a post-doc, he conducted research at the Institute for Optics and Quantum Electronics at Schiller University in Jena, Germany, where he was in charge of the Téramobile project. Later, he worked at CEA/CNRS in Grenoble, France. He is a member of the Pedagogic Innovation Commission and the Open Science Working Group of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, he serves as co-president of the Equality Commission of the Faculty of Science and has been a member of the University Equality Commission at the University of Geneva since 2020. |
